The Zebra LI4278 is a cordless 1D barcode scanner designed for reliable barcode capture in retail, point-of-sale, inventory, warehouse, healthcare and business applications. Its Bluetooth wireless connectivity provides freedom of movement while the scanner can communicate through a compatible charging cradle using USB, RS-232, RS-485 or Keyboard Wedge interfaces. The LI4278 uses a high-performance linear imager and supports a broad range of 1D barcode symbologies, including UPC/EAN, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, Code 11, Codabar, Interleaved 2 of 5, MSI, GS1 DataBar and other commonly used linear barcodes. The rechargeable 750 mAh NiMH battery supports up to 57,000 scans per full charge and up to 72 hours of operation under Zebra's specified test conditions. The scanner delivers a scan rate of 547 scans per second and supports a single bright aiming line for accurate barcode targeting.
