The Chainway CP30 is a high-performance UHF RFID label printer and RFID encoding printer designed for printing and encoding RFID tags, barcode labels, asset labels, shipping labels, invoices and other business identification media. It combines UHF RFID encoding with thermal transfer and direct thermal printing in a single desktop printer. The CP30 supports 203 DPI and 300 DPI printhead configurations, delivering printing speeds of up to 8 inches per second at 203 DPI and up to 6 inches per second at 300 DPI. Maximum print width is 108 mm with the 203 DPI configuration and 106 mm with the 300 DPI configuration. For RFID applications, the CP30 supports UHF RFID tags operating across supported regional frequency bands, including 920–925 MHz, 902–928 MHz and 865–868 MHz, with EPCglobal Class 1 Gen 2 (ISO18000-6C) protocol support. The platform also supports Impinj Gen2X. The printer features a 3.5-inch TFT color touch-panel LCD for convenient operation and configuration. Standard connectivity includes USB, USB Host and Ethernet, while Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are available as optional interfaces. The CP30 supports continuous paper, gap labels, black-mark labels and punched-hole labels. Compatible RFID and label media can range from 25.4 mm to 118 mm in width. Thermal transfer ribbons are supported in wax, wax/resin and resin types, with ribbon lengths up to 300 metres. With support for ZPL-II, TSPL, DPL and EPL emulations, the Chainway CP30 can integrate with a wide range of label-printing environments. It is suitable for RFID asset tracking, inventory management, warehouse operations, logistics, retail, manufacturing, healthcare and supply-chain applications.
